Welcome 2015
I recently read this quote and thought this was the perfect time to share it.
Faith in Jesus Christ gives us strength
to leave the past
behind
and look ahead to a brighter future.
"To reach a goal never before attained, you must do
things you have never done before."
Elder Richard G. Scott
Elder Richard G. Scott
"With the help of the Lord we can do that which may seem impossible.
He will give us the strength to "do the things we have never done before."
Paul said it perfectly in Philippians 4:13
"I can do all things, through Christ, which strengtheneth me!"

We took the 4 elders out to Smashburger for lunch in Rock Hill, SC.
I actually really liked my first Smashburger!
Faith in Jesus Christ gives us strength to leave the past behind
and look ahead to a brighter future.
This is true for the new missionaries (Ins) coming to NC Charlotte.....
and also for those leaving us at Transfer time (Outs)
Saying Good-bye to Sister Makaya.
Her visa came for Australia and she left us December 29
just as our new missionaries were arriving from the MTC.
We are so grateful that this dear Sister came to us, even for a short time!
We are blessed to know and love her!
Sister Merrill, Sister Makaya, Sister Bowen (out) and Sister Johnson.
Sister Merrill and Bowen were wonderful trainers for Sister Makaya.
She was so blessed to have these two Sister Training Leaders as companions!
Sister Daly and Sister Cottis are still in Charlotte. We love them!
Sister Adams and Sister Nielsen waiting to turn in their ipads before going home.
Sister Andrus with Sister Russell, another dear Missionary going home!
Elder Ashby is going home, sort of. His parents are Mission Presidents in England.
He's going to stay with a married brother for a short time, then only he knows what he'll do next.
I love Sister Bowen. She was a diligent wonderful missionary!
Elder Call was an amazing Assistant to the President for a time. So loved!
Sister Holman was heading home too.
Sister Pace is saying her good byes to her wonderful companion.
Elder Laudie is going home to American Fork, Utah! We'll see him again.
He was our neighbor in Harrisburg for several wonderful months.
Sister Phillips and Sister Jacott, are companions now. Oh how we love them!
All these missionaries except Elder Herr returned home at transfers. So glad we get to keep
Elder Herr for awhile!
One last squeeze from Sister Holman!
Elder Wright, despite the blurry photo, is a positive powerful missionary whom we love!
All the Outs after their last late night dinner, fireside, interviews and blessings
at the Mission home with President and Sister Craven.
Early New Years Eve morning trip to the airport! Elder Urban and I were feeling tender as we were driving this van full of missionaries singing, telling stories and bidding farewell.
The Assistants drove the other van full of elders, where we all met President and Sister Craven.
They all arrived safely home into the arms of excited families. We miss them already!
Mission Office Cardinals
I never get tired watching these beautiful cardinals right outside my Mission Office window.Elder Hunt took these amazing photos. Thanks Elder Hunt!
